Our work with residents leads to improved food security, enhanced education and employment readiness, increased access to recreation, and residents have agency and self-confidence to navigate barriers. We work to create a community where residents have a sense of belonging and pride, everyone feels welcome and accepted, and residents feel safer and more secure. To achieve these goals, we need a well-functioning physical location, sustainable operational funding and strong relationships with residents was well as other service providers.
CVRC receives funding and support from many wonderful individuals and organizations including: NB Department of Social Development, NB Children's Foundation, Saint John Energy, Emera New Brunswick, the Community Foundation of Saint John, the City of Saint John, United Commercial Travellers Jack Kidd Council, Port Saint John, the Environmental Trust Fund and private donors and volunteers.
