Saint John Food Purchasing Club

Offering access to good quality vegetables and fruit at affordable prices.

The Saint John Food Purchasing Club is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that has been in operation since 1997. It is administered by St. Joseph's Community Health Centre.  The goal is to help members in our community stretch their food dollar by offering access to good quality vegetables and fruit at affordable prices. Orders are $25.00.

The money is pooled together and produce is purchased from wholesalers in bulk to take advantage of lower prices!  Items vary from month to month/season to season, but always include staples.

• Pay for your order by the identified order date
• Cash payment accepted at participating locations
• E-transfer available to martha.maclean@horizonNB.ca
• Include name, phone number and pick-up location in notes section when placing e-transfer
• Pick up order on date listed, usually the following Friday
• Pick up times vary depending on location
• The orders may not be ready for pick up before 12 p.m.

Drop off your reusable bags to the pick up location before pick up day so the packers have something to put the produce in. Be sure to put your name on the bags.
You do not need to buy an order every month – just when it is beneficial to you!

- St. Mary & St. Bartholomew Church, 646 Westmorland Road, 506-696-1347. Pick up 12pm - 2pm.

- Carleton Community Centre, 120 Market Place, 506-658-2920.  Pick up 12pm - 4pm.Not able to accept cash at this location, pay by e-transfer only.

- Ecole Samuel de Champlain, 67 Ragged Point Road. Pick up 12 pm - 6pm.
